While We Were Gone

"Ew what's that smell? Must be my form"

Like the prodigal son returning home to the farm, Nando and Cesc return after a blog-less year. We know, we don't deserve your forgiveness however we are sorry for leaving you in the dark without our amazing/inspiring/scripture-like posts. We were too busy "studying" during the first half of the season and we spent the second half recovering from post-exam celebrations.

But not to worry, here's our take on season 2010/11 filled into one post.

Spain
  • Barcelona won La Liga and Champions League, wow didnt see that one coming (sarcasm)
  • Jose Mourinho's first term in charge proved relatively successful and showed that they have the potential to become even better next season
  • We learnt that you can have too much of a good thing, with nearly 2340 El Classicos played within 2 weeks
Italy
  • AC Milan finally managed to reclaim the Serie A title
  • Ronaldinho went back to Brazil (sad face) but Milan still have an awesome attacking line up with Pato, Ibrahimovic, Robinho and new addition Cassano in their ranks
  • Inter are nothing without Mourinho
  • Benitez really can fuck up the perfect team
England
  • Manchester United win the EPL, surpassing Liverpool's record in the process
  • Javier Hernandez is a contender for the transfer of the season
  • Chelsea started out strong but crumbled mid season
  • In attempts to salvage their season Chelsea signed an awesome goal scorer and Fernando Torres
  • It didn't work
  • Dalglish reinstated as Liverpool Manager after Roy Hodgeson
  • Liverpool signed Suarez and Carroll
  • Manchester City showed that they're ready to become genuine contenders for the title next season
  • Tevez misses home :(
  • Fabregas is still at Arsenal
  • Torres gets a sex change to become eligible for the FIFA Women's World Cup, however still overlooked for selection due to not having any balls
  • Ancelotti sacked by Chelsea on final game day
  • Chelsea sign wonder boss Andre Villas Boas
